The configuration supports both small-diameter precision flow control and large-diameter industrial transport pipelines without system modification.

Engineering Performance

Pressure resistance up to PN6.4 MPa is achieved through reinforced casting structure and stress-optimized body design.

Cryogenic performance down to -196°C is supported through validated low-temperature material selection and impact-resistant stainless steel grades.

Specially designed flexible PTFE-based composite seats automatically compensate for differential thermal expansion and contraction, preventing valve jamming or seat deformation under rapid thermal shock.

Structural compatibility with wafer and flanged connections ensures direct installation into ANSI/GB piping systems without modification.

Built-in safety mechanism automatically vents overpressure from the valve cavity to the upstream side, preventing catastrophic shell failure caused by cryogenic liquid vaporization.

FAQ

Q: Do your valves have EN 10204 3.1 Material Test Reports (MTRs)?

A: Yes. Every shipment includes original MTRs verifying the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the low-temperature stainless steel.

Q: How do you guarantee zero leakage at -196°C?

A: Every batch undergoes liquid nitrogen immersion testing. The combination of cryogenic stress-relieved stainless steel and our proprietary PTFE composite seat prevents cold-flow and material brittleness.

Q: Are your dimensions fully compatible with API 609 standard pipelines?

A: Yes. Our flanged and wafer valves strictly comply with API 609 and GB/T 12238, allowing direct drop-in replacement on site without pipeline modification.

Q: What international cryogenic standards do your valves comply with?

A: Our cryogenic butterfly valves are designed and tested in accordance with BS 6364 (Specification for valves for cryogenic service) and ISO 28921. We provide full traceability with EN 10204 3.1 MTRs, and fire-safe certification (API 607) can be provided upon request.

Q: Can the extended bonnet length be customized?

A: Yes. We can customize the extended stem/bonnet length according to your specific cold-box or pipeline insulation thickness requirements to ensure the packing gland remains at an ambient temperature zone.

Q: How do you ensure the orientation and venting of the cryogenic butterfly valve during installation?

A: Our valves feature body marking arrows for flow direction and a specialized cavity pressure relief design to prevent overpressure. Detailed installation checklists for vertical and horizontal configurations are provided with each manual.

Q: What documentation is provided for international custom clearance and project auditing?

A: Each shipment comes with a complete documentation package, including Original EN 10204 3.1 MTRs, Pressure Test Reports, BS 6364 Cryogenic Test Certificates (when ordered), and Certificate of Origin.
